A village by the water
Carshalton is known for the ponds at its centre, fed by springs that form the source of one branch of the River Wandle. Around them are the Honeywood Museum, Grove Park and a cluster of old buildings that give the place its village feel. To the south lies Carshalton Beeches, a quieter residential area with its own station, and further south still, The Oaks Park.
From Motspur Park, a car usually reaches Carshalton via Sutton, taking around 18 to 25 minutes.
St Helier Hospital
St Helier Hospital is one of the main reasons people book taxis in Carshalton. Appointments, visiting hours and discharge days are all easier by car. Tell us the entrance you need when you book. If you do not know when you will be finished, call 020 3642 6159 and we will arrange a pick-up.
On discharge days, pick-up times can be unpredictable. Call us when the paperwork is done, and we will send a car as soon as possible.
Two stations
Carshalton station, near the Ponds, and Carshalton Beeches station, to the south, both have Southern trains towards Sutton and London Victoria. A short taxi ride from either is often quicker than walking with bags, especially uphill to the Beeches.

Errands, shopping and days out
Regular trips to the shops, visits to family and days out at The Oaks Park are all part of the job. Our pet friendly taxi is popular for dog walks in the parks. All fares are fixed upfront, with card and cash accepted.
Getting to the City and the West End
Carshalton has direct trains to London Victoria, but late at night, or with heavy luggage, a car straight to the terminal is often easier. Our Victoria station taxi is a common booking here, and for a train north the car can take you all the way to King's Cross. Theatre trips into the West End work well too: book the return with the outward journey, and the car will be waiting when the evening ends.
