Taxis to Gatwick Airport
Gatwick is roughly 22 miles south of Motspur Park. The usual route runs south through Worcester Park and Sutton towards Banstead, climbs Reigate Hill on the A217 and joins the M25 at junction 8. From there it is a short hop east to junction 7 and down the M23 to the airport turn-off at junction 9. When the A217 is slow, drivers sometimes use the A3 and M25 instead. It is a longer distance but can save time when the M25 is clear.
Whichever way the car goes, your fare is fixed in advance.

Summer Saturdays at Gatwick are among the busiest days of the year for the M23, so build in a generous margin.
North or South Terminal?
Gatwick has two terminals about a mile apart, linked by a free shuttle train. Check your booking, as airlines move between them from time to time.
- South Terminal sits right beside Gatwick railway station.
- North Terminal is reached via its own road off the M23 spur.
Both have a forecourt drop-off area. Gatwick charges a fee for dropping off at the terminal, so ask whether it is included when you get your quote.
Holiday families and heavy luggage
Gatwick handles many of the big holiday routes to Spain, Portugal, Greece and the Canaries, so our Gatwick runs often involve families with a lot of luggage. Four people with four big cases plus hand luggage will not fit comfortably in a saloon. Our 6 seater taxi is the usual answer, with child seats fitted on request. For two families travelling together, book the 7 seater MPV.
Arriving at Gatwick - Taxi to Gatwick near me
Coming home is the part people dread after a holiday. Give us your flight number and we will track the landing. Choose meet and greet and your driver will be waiting in the arrivals hall with your name on a board, ready to help with the trolley. It means no hunting for a cab rank with tired children in tow.
Travelling with a pet that is staying in kennels? Our pet friendly taxi can drop the dog off on the way to Gatwick in one booking.
