Getting to know Mitcham
Mitcham is a large, varied area on the eastern side of the borough of Merton. At its heart is Fair Green, with its market and shops. To the west is the historic Cricket Green, where cricket has been played for centuries, and to the south is Mitcham Common, a huge open space crossed by the tram line. Two stations serve the area: Mitcham Junction, for Southern, Thameslink and Tramlink, and Mitcham Eastfields to the north.
From Motspur Park, a car usually comes through Morden and along the A239, taking around 18 to 25 minutes.

What our Mitcham customers book
Airport transfers
Gatwick is often the nearest airport choice from Mitcham, reached via the A217 south. London City and Heathrow are both popular for work trips. For extended families heading on holiday together, our 7 seater taxi carries up to eight.
Hospital visits
St George's in Tooting and St Helier in Carshalton are both a short drive from Mitcham. A car to the hospital entrance is calmer than a bus, especially when you are unwell or visiting someone. Book the return as well, or call when you are ready to come home.
Big shops and errands
Large supermarket shops, trips to the retail parks or carrying a big item home are easier by car. Let us know what you are carrying, and we will send a car with room for it.
